Today I am grateful for

dinner with my dearest at Nostradam, the little restaurant of a dear friend and his husband. Both are very talented people. If you’d ever be in Mechelen (a great city to visit, I wrote about it here), make sure you treat yourself and your senses with one of Nostradam’s delicious meals and/or desserts and/or coffees. Food and service are excellent! And … I love the way it’s decorated: warm, cosy and inviting.

Thank you Miguel and Steve: we had a lovely evening!

Today I am grateful for

finding back old stuff, like this purse, filled with money (which is great as I booked a ticket to the UK yesterday and forgot to book an included train ticket from my place to Brussels, so it will be a bit more expensive, but I won’t feel it that much, as these coins will help me out),

moments of sunshine on a grey and stormy day, creating

these lovely patterns,

decluttering (one of my dearest friends, Little Miss Joey, wrote a blog post about it last year which I still remember)

and

my actual and very cosy place, seen from our terrace. I will miss this really, but something new is waiting for us and I can’t wait to move in and start to decorate, to create a new home! I do love new beginnings! Do you?

Today I am grateful for writing in Fabiola (see this post), while my dearest was reading a book.

We had a cosy and relaxing afternoon.

How do you spend these last days of the year?

PS: the quality of the photo isn’t as good as it could be, because I didn’t have my camera with me (one of the first times since a long time) and had to use my dearest’s phone. With this imperfection, I am already rehearsing for next year, as my word for 2012 is ‘letting go’.

Today I am grateful for seasonal decoration and warm autumn light.

Wishing you a cosy WE!
